Five fingers on a hand are not the same size, and neither are internship experiences. My bNext internship at bKash was a journey of learning, responsibility, teamwork, and amazing people.

Five fingers on a hand are not all the same size; similarly, people in the same organisation can have very different internship experiences.
My experience at bKash Limited can be summed up rather simply:
I learned a lot and enjoyed it even more!
Completing the bNext Summer Internship Program 2026 has been one of the most valuable experiences of my student life. It gave me the opportunity to move beyond classrooms and case competitions and experience what it actually means to work in a professional environment.
During my time with the AML & CFT Department under ECAD, I worked on governance reporting and process automation using Excel VBA, developed a Python-based web-scraping solution to support AML/CFT investigations, and conducted Paper KYC/eKYC quality checks.
But the biggest learning was not technical.
It was understanding how much people, communication, trust, and teamwork matter at work.
All my thanks go to my mentors, Kibria Mohammed Kabir, Mohammad Taznim Azad, and Nafisa Tabassum apu, who guided me throughout the journey, treated me like a colleague, and, most importantly, gave me the opportunity to perform and learn.
Being trusted with real responsibilities taught me to ask better questions, solve problems independently, pay closer attention to details, and take ownership of my work.
I also got to see how finance, technology, data, and compliance come together in a real financial services organisation, something that strongly aligns with the direction I want to take in my career.
Looking back, I am leaving with more than technical skills. I am taking with me new perspectives, new confidence, and, most importantly, memories of some genuinely amazing people.
Thank you, bKash, for the experience.
